The Electric Racecar of the Future

    Last updated 4 years ago

The future of racing is here with the advent of the Nissan Nismo RC fully electric racecar. The Nismo RC is powered by a compact module with laminated cell design, which increases power and reduces volume compared with the cylinder cells found in other electric cars. Performance-wise, the Nissan Nismo RC offers several advantages over racecars with combustion engines. Unlike combustion engines, which must be pushed to several thousand RPMs before achieving maximum torque output, the Nismo RC delivers 100% of its torque output as soon as the accelerator pedal is pressed. Further, the Nismo RC doesn’t need oxygen in order to run, which makes it just as effective at high-altitude racing locations where the performance of combustion engines suffers.

Many of the innovations found in the Nissan Nismo RC are available in the fully electric Nissan LEAF. To take a test drive in the new Nissan LEAF, come to Brown’s Dulles Nissan in Virginia today. Maxima

The Maxima is Nissan’s top-of-the-line luxury sedan. With the boldest and sportiest style of the three Nissan sedans, this is the car for you if you want to drive a high-tech, sporty luxury sedan with best-in-class value. It comes equipped with a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT) that provides smooth, direct acceleration.

    Sentra

The compact Nissan Sentra is an excellent pick for drivers that want to have the latest technology for a great value. One of the most notable features on the Nissan Sentra is the available Nissan Connect system, which lets you tune in to your favorite Pandora Internet radio stations or make hands-free phone calls. You can even have the system read your text messages out loud to you and send a reply back with the push of a button on the steering wheel. Fuel efficiency in the Sentra is outstanding, rated at 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway with the FE+ package.

    Altima

If you want a bit more power and interior space, the all-new Nissan Altima is the mid-size car for you. Equipped with a 182-horsepower four-cylinder engine, the Nissan Altima returns class-leading fuel economy ratings of 38 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the city. The cabin is also more premium than the Sentra, offering soft-touch materials and Nissan’s highly praised “zero gravity” seats that were designed with the help of NASA research to reduce fatigue and discomfort while driving.
